"I’m very excited to invite you to this truly unique veterinary conference where we work towards making sure that our special veterinary industry becomes very much a part of the solution to our climate crisis."
We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the 3rd Veterinary Green Discussion Forum, this year entitled “Creating a Circular Economy”, at WWT London Wetland Centre.
Following the success of the event in 2023, we want to continue to lead the debate on our climate crisis, and bring together individuals from across the veterinary profession for important discussions.
We cannot rely on governments to solve all of our environmental problems, individuals and businesses are also critical. It is our hope that in a spirit of collegiality and collaboration we can make real progress in beginning to solve our environmental issues.
This is a conference for anybody interested in the future of the planet.

London Wetland Centre brings the countryside to London. Although close to the heart of the capital it is a haven of tranquillity for both wildlife and people.
The lakes, pools and gardens are home to a huge variety of wildlife including kingfishers, sand martins, wading birds and plenty more. For keen bird watchers there are bitterns in the winter and yellow wagtails on the grazing marsh in summer.
But it's not just wildlife enthusiasts that enjoy the beauty of our nature reserve. It’s a wonderful place for a relaxing walk through the scenic paths that meander among the lakes and gardens.
The paths at London Wetland Centre are all flat - as you might expect at a centre created on the site of four redundant reservoirs. And there are plenty of benches dotted about, so the entire site is easily accessible.
This is a conference for anybody interested in the future of the planet.
This is the decisive decade if we want to prevent an unprecedented rise in global temperatures and a massive loss in biodiversity. The veterinary industry should be part of the solution!
